DraftKings adds a neuroscience-based decision-making tool to its Responsible Gaming Centre, extending a strategy built around research, education and senior-level RG oversight as scrutiny of VIP programmes and player targeting continues.
DraftKings has integrated Mindway AI’s Gamalyze into its Responsible Gaming Centre, adding what the companies describe as a “science-based experience tool” designed to help players better understand their own decision-making behaviour.
Unlike traditional self-assessments, Gamalyze “evaluates actual decision-making during a simulated card game, providing objective insights based on real behaviour rather than self-reporting”, with tailored feedback intended to help customers “reflect on and manage their play responsibly”.

“Mindway AI is committed to advancing science-based tools so that players can game responsibly,” said Rasmus Kjaergaard, (pictured left), CEO of Mindway AI. “Integrating Gamalyze with DraftKings’ Responsible Gaming Centre reflects our mutual commitment to providing customers with access to educational and personalised insights based on their own real-world engagement," he said.
For DraftKings, the integration forms part of its wider approach to combining technology, research and education within its responsible gaming strategy. “Promoting informed decision-making to our customers is central to how we engage with them, and we’re pleased to work with Mindway AI to continue such promotion,” said Lori Kalani, chief responsible gaming officer at DraftKings.
Kalani added that “as more customers engage with tools like Gamalyze to better understand their personal play, we are continuing to enhance our culture of responsibility and innovation at DraftKings”.
The company said the addition of Gamalyze “marks another step” in its efforts to combine technology and research to promote informed play, alongside collaboration with research institutions, advocacy organisations and industry regulators to advance responsible gaming education and awareness.
The rollout comes as operators face sustained regulatory and political attention over consumer protection, marketing practices and the treatment of high-value customers. In that context, tools such as Gamalyze reflect a shift towards behavioural insight and personal reflection rather than relying solely on static limits and disclosures.
Whether such initiatives lead to measurable reductions in harm remains the central question for regulators and public health stakeholders, who are increasingly focused on outcomes rather than intent as the industry continues to mature.
